Cecilia is Born and raised in Triana, one of the most authentic neighbourhood of Seville, and living in Aracena in the countryside. She is a multidisciplinary artist, Sociocultural Facilitator, and official tour guide and teacher. Passionate about meeting people from all over the world understands the work of tourism as building bridges and connections between foreigners and the local people, believing in another way of tourism that cares about the local life and environment. With a multi skilled and creative profile her background is founded on studies on Music, Sociocultural Animation -with a long profesional experience focused on designing educational activities for non formal education-Teaching Methodology, and Systemic Pedagogy, studying and working in Seville and Barcelona. After falling in love with the guiding profession she obtained her official guiding license via a public exam on Spanish History, Art History, Cultural Heritage, Guiding Techniques, and English.
Her work in education and her creative sipirit gives her the experience to design tours focused on meaningful learning using creative techniques. Embracing a critical and Humanist orientation and a social commitment she understands her company mission as a cultural facilitator agent, moving a holistic understanding of the city, its culture, and its history and creating bridges between locals and foreigners and helping travellers to make their visit more sustainable. Her artwork goes through different languages to create and express critical thoughts, spiritual awareness, emotions, and beauty. Her first language since childhood was music using her voice in multiple styles as soul, jazz, Brazilian, folk, pop, Sephardic songs, playing keyboard, and guitar and composing songs. She also uses photography, collage, writing, and video art.
